Community Guidelines
Effective September 24, 2026
The Aptiva community is for sharing recipes, cooking wins, and honest reviews. Keep it useful and kind. These rules apply to everything you publish: recipes, reviews, photos, display names, and profiles. They are part of our Terms of Service.
1. Share
- Recipes you created or have the right to share. Credit the source when you adapt someone else’s.
- Your own photos of food you cooked.
- Honest reviews of recipes you actually made.
- Accurate ingredient lists, especially for common allergens.
2. Do not post
- Hate, harassment, bullying, threats, or content that targets people for who they are.
- Sexual content or nudity, graphic violence, or anything illegal.
- Health claims that could hurt people, such as food that “cures,” “treats,” or “prevents” a disease, extreme diets, or content that promotes disordered eating.
- Unsafe food handling presented as safe.
- Spam, advertising, links to sell things, or fake reviews.
- Someone else’s personal information, or photos of people who did not agree to be shown.
- Content you copied without permission.
- Impersonation of another person or brand.
3. Report and block
Tap the … menu on any recipe, review, or profile and choose Report. Choose Block to stop seeing that person’s content right away. They are not told that you blocked them.
4. What happens next
- Reviews are checked before anyone else sees them. Published recipes are screened automatically.
- We review every report within 24 hours and remove content that breaks these rules.
- There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Accounts that break these rules are suspended or permanently banned.
- If your content is removed, you will see a notice in the app. If you think we got it wrong, email iamdavidchen0@gmail.com.
If something shows a risk of immediate harm, contact local emergency services first.
